The Southern Caucus & Dixie Daily News is a grass roots effort to promote and conserve the economic, political, and cultural resources of the South. In addition, we seek  the resurrection of our Founding Fathers beliefs in personal, economic and financial freedom as well as the return to less government through decentralized confederation government here in the US and around the world.

We urge a return to the balanced foreign policy of George Washington and a limited decentralized confederated republic  like our first government, The Articles of Confederation as advocated by Thomas Jefferson, Jefferson Davis & John C. Calhoun. We will work to restore most government power, institutions, programs & services to local control and direction together with the rights of nullification & secession at all government levels.  Finally we urge a return to the Judeo-Christian and moral views of the Founding Fathers and pray for a return of political leaders with the humility, duty and public service of men like Washington, Jefferson, Lee and Jackson.

We view the body politic of the American state as it is today and not as it was or as we might wish it to be. Therefore we will not waste our time and efforts on useless third party fringe politics but rather we seek to impact and change the direction of our closed two-party monopoly political system totally under the control of special interests rather than the people. WARNING! If you comfortably believe the garbage presented as unbiased news, expert opinion, true history, and conventional politics by the media elites, we promise you our website will make you uncomfortable and you just might look at the world around you a little bit different. We believe politicians lie only when they are speaking, America is not always right, Washington is usually wrong, government never solves problems only makes them worse and the best government is one that governs least!

Frankly the Kurds in the north of Iraq and the Shites in the south have little more in common than traditional rural and conservative voters in the South and West have with the big corporate elites and their interests in the liberal cities of Atlanta, New York and San Francisco. The same for Northern and Southern Italy, Vermont and New York, Scotland and England etc. Ultimately we seek a return back to the freedom and liberty of our first American central government, THE ARTICLES OF CONFEDERATION established back on Nov 15, 1777.
